We all are affected by corona virus since 2020 and it mostly affected the lives of children. Our children are restricted to home and many of them are even confined to a small room. The schools are shut down and online classes have taken over.
These online classes are a new normal for young students or students who have just joined the school and never went to a physical school till date. Now the schools have to come our homes through laptops, tablets, ipads, mobile phones, etc. Parents are finding different ways to put in more efforts to fulfill the education of their children. Children are now finding different means of recreations, indoor games, worksheets, etc.
This is what is now called Homeschooling. Many parents are now buying cut and paste charts online to complete their project works.
There are many Advantages and Disadvantages of homeschooling or education from home.
Let's discuss the advantages of first.
1. Involvement of Parents.
The most important aspect of homeschooling is that now parents are involved in their child's education. They know what their child is doing and they take extra efforts to make them learn the concepts. So this helps children make them learn faster even at home.
2.Builds a good bond between both Parents & their Children.
As a good parent-children relationship is very essential for every family. This method or process of learning i.e., homeschooling is playing a very great role by helping the parents as well as children to build their relationship more strong by connecting with each other while doing activities. Parents helping their children or kids in the studies helps in developing the secure and healthy attachment with one another. Moreover, this not only helps to build the good relationship but also helps them to understand the feelings of each other and promotes the firm and friendly communication too.
3. Helps to focus on the mental health or illness.
Homeschooling also provides the opportunity to focus on the child's mental stability. Assume, if the child is facing a problem of anxiety, depression, or any other issue. Then, it will be easy for the parents to support or help her/him out of that situation. Homeschooling also reduces the amount of bullies and school-induced stress.
4. Safety & Secureness.
At present, due to coronavirus, no one is safe outside. Thus, homeschooling is the best option for kids excellent safe and secure learning at home. Parents can take care at their own of the children's physical safety. Children also feel secure at their home.
Now, everything has a positive and negative side. Homeschooling, on the other hand, has some drawbacks in addition to its benefits.

1. Frustration & a lack of activity.
Because the children are learning entirely at home due to the outbreak, they are becoming bored and frustrated because they are unable to meet their friends outside. They are also becoming inactive as a result of not being able to play outside. This has an effect on their mental and physical well-being. They can't enjoy their school life too.
2. Lack of Necessary Attention.
Because most parents work, the children do not always receive the care they require. As a result, they are unable to concentrate on their academics and receive poor grades.
3. Handle the challenges of going at a slower speed properly.
Homeschooling cannot keep up with the pace of a proper school, which may cause one's child to fall behind their peers.
4. Lack of Emotional & Social Abilities.
As children require a thriving environment in order to grasp basic human features, a home-schooled youngster can become very lonely. As adults, they will struggle to make friends due to a lack of social skills.
